It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Dr. Meg Whelan. Dr. Whelan passed away on March 13, 2025.
Dr. Whelan joined LeBauer Allergy & Asthma almost 20 years ago, making this community her home and dedicating her medical practice to caring for her patients. She was Board Certified in Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology as well as Board Certified in Pediatrics. She immediately became a trusted practitioner in our medical community and her patients loved her dearly. Patients knew she cared and was tenaciously committed to finding answers and helping them through their healthcare journey. She was a physician leader to our staff, deeply loyal, always available to listen and to share a hug. She was a mentor to our newest provider, Brislyn Saylor, PA-C. And, to Dr. Ranjan Sharma, Dr. Chris Van Winkle, and Dr. Eugene LeBauer (ret.) she was not only a friend, but she was also a sharp-witted business partner, fiercely dedicated to providing quality healthcare with exceptional service to meet the needs of our patients.
It has been an honor to work with and know Dr. Whelan and she will be missed by all of us at LeBauer Allergy & Asthma. We understand that this news may be difficult, and we want to assure you that we are here to support you in any way and make sure you continue to get the care you need.
