Dr. Ranjan Sharma

Dr. Sharma grew up in Greensboro and graduated from Page High School.  He earned his Undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  His Medical Degree is from East Carolina University and his residency in Internal Medicine was completed at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.  His Allergy, Asthma & Immunology fellowship was completed at Duke University Medical Center.  Dr. Sharma is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy & Immunology.  He specializes in treating pediatric and adult patients who suffer from Allergy related illnesses.

Dr. Meg Whelan

Dr. Whelan is a native of Long Island, N.Y.  She joined LeBauer Allergy and Asthma in 2005, immediately following the completion of her Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology in Philadelphia.  She earned her BS in Biology from Duke University and completed her Medical Degree and Residency training at SUNY Stony Brook.  Dr. Whelan is Board Certified in Pediatrics as well as Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology.  She has been a fantastic addition to the practice and enjoys the opportunity to treat patients of all ages.

Dr. Chris Van Winkle

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Van Winkle earned his Undergraduate Degree in Biology from Pepperdine University in California.  He completed his Medical Degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and served his Residency in Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.   Dr. Van Winkle entered private practice here in Greensboro in 2003 and enjoyed seven years as a General Practice Pediatrician with a keen interest in caring for Allergy and Asthma related conditions.   
Brislyn Saylor

Meet our Advanced Practice Provider

Brislyn Saylor, PA-C

We welcome Brislyn Saylor, PA-C to our practice and our community as of September of 2024.  Originally from Kentucky, Ms. Saylor earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Eastern Kentucky University and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of the Cumberlands.   She is board-certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has over six years of experience caring for pediatric and adult patients with allergy and asthma conditions.  She is excited to be joining LeBauer Allergy and Asthma to manage treatable health conditions with quality specialty care to help prevent patients from getting sick and needing to seek care at urgent cares and emergency rooms.  Ms. Saylor will collaborate closely with our specialist physicians and be an integral part of our patients’ care team for follow-ups and sick care.  She will see patients in our Greensboro and Burlington offices.

Dr. Eugene LeBauer – retired

Dr. LeBauer is a native of Greensboro and a graduate of Greensboro High School.  He earned his Undergraduate and Medical degrees from Duke University.  He served his Residency in Internal Medicine at Ohio State University Hospital and completed a Fellowship in Allergy/Immunology, and Pulmonary Medicine at the University of Colorado.  After spending two years in the US Air Force in the Division of Allergy, Dr. LeBauer returned to Greensboro to begin private  practice in the Internal Medicine subspecialties of Allergy and Pulmonology.  Dr. LeBauer retired on December 31, 2012.
